History
The poultry farm was established here after the Second World War and long before many of the houses were built in the village of Pendoylan.
With the increasingly challenging landsape of small scale farming, we have regenerated Longacre Farm into Y Cwt; A 21st century community space.
Regeneration
Planning to regenerate Longacre Farm began in 2017, ready to open in 2021. We are grateful for the grant we have received allowing us to regenerate the farm to benefit the local community. We are hopeful Y Cwt will provide a unique setting in the Vale of Glamorgan. This funding received was through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
